Inspiration: This work has a fresh contemporary feel to it. It was painted intuitively after spending many days photographing and sketching at Pittenweem harbour. Not the traditional harbour view, but it has some of the lines and suggested shapes you'd recognise if you know it well. There are even some prints from found objects. For me this is the essence of the place.
Info: This original work is an abstract watercolour with subtle muted colours made from studies of the harbour at Pittenweem, in the East Neuk of Fife. Please note that the image, border and frame in room settings are not accurate or to scale. They are just there to give a sense of how the work would look in a room. Please always go by the measurements given. Thank you.
